This makes things much single easier for you when purchasing from us: Our AEO status certifies that we, Carl Werthenbach Konstruktionsteile GmbH & Co KG, have reliable and safe business processes in global trade. With an AEO certificate, we benefit from quicker customs procedures for both imports and exports.
We worked hard to obtain our AEO status, undergoing evaluations of aspects such as financial solvency, compliance efforts, accurate accounting, and compliance with customs regulations. Carl Werthenbach Konstruktionsteile is recognized as a “known consignor” by the Bielefeld Main Customs Office and has been meeting high standards in customs procedures for many years. The AEO status is recognized internationally by member states of the European Union, Switzerland, the USA, Norway, Japan, Andorra and China. The certificate includes customs simplifications of the AEO and represents the highest level of certification available in terms of customs.
We also have special employees responsible for customs who can handle all these details for you. These staff know our suppliers well, and know when to obtain which certificate of origin from whom and what purpose it serves. This is based on the preferential or free trade agreements between the EU and many non-EU countries. Many of these free trade agreements aim to provide customs benefits or even exemption from customs duties.

You decide whether or not you need a (non-)dual-use declaration, and we'll supply it. You will then receive information on whether the qualities supplied are listed in a goods list, i.e. the export list or the dual-use goods list, and can therefore only be exported with a license.
Our suppliers' export control inspection options are limited to their goods. Here, it is usual for our suppliers, who know the technical parameters of their products, to provide information on whether or not their goods are included in the export list or Annex I of the EU Dual-Use Regulation. If the goods are included there, their design is subject to approval when being transported outside the EU. The supplier is legally obliged to provide this information for intra-Community deliveries, but not for deliveries within Germany.
If you need a certificate of origin for your purchased goods for your import regulations, we will take care of this for you. With the certificate of origin, which can only be obtained by applying to the Chamber of Commerce, the origin of your goods is certified. For you as a buyer, this certificate is also especially important if you want to sell the goods on. This is because it is always important to document the precise origin and quantities of the goods so that you are on the safe side and know for yourself that you are receiving original products.
