It goes without saying that we're well-known in our local area of East Westphalia and Bielefeld, Germany. Here, we are part of an established group of companies that business partners trust because our open communication and solution-oriented advice makes working with us feel good. And because Bielefeld is just one of those places where people know each other - sometimes going back half their lives.

We master every task as a team
Most days, our employees - many of whom have a technical background - are doing nothing but working hard to find the right parts for you, assemble the components or manufacture the individual solutions that will solve your problems. Nothing more, nothing less. To ensure that they can do this so smoothly in technical consulting, at the CNC machine, in dispatch or in the field during technical services, our employees who have commercial know-how provide them with the support they need. Our staff in product management, sales and marketing control and steer everything so that what belongs together comes together: whether that's spare parts and a machine or a service technician and a problem.
Like pieces of a puzzle, we just fit together - both as colleagues and on a personal level.
A family business born of tradition.
When Carl Werthenbach took the plunge into self-employment in 1932 - during a difficult economic period - by stepping in for Nüral pistons, he could never have imagined how much his one-man business would grow over the next few decades. But it was in 1945, when he moved to his new business premises in Bielefeld, Kesselbrink, that he first got a sense of the possibilities.
In 1977, that instinct paid off, as the Hydraulics department moved into its own building in Bielefeld-Brake. Central Administration and Werthenbach Industrial Technology followed suit in 1991. In 2019, a new management team was appointed for industrial technology - but Werthenbach remains a family business. This trusting partnership between the founding family and the new management still continues today, and was also a major theme at the company's 90th anniversary celebrations in 2022.

Locations
Bielefeld has always been the headquarters of Werthenbach. It is from here that we have steered the fortunes of the company, and its branches in Hamburg, Hilden, Kassel, Langenhagen and Paderborn, for almost a century.
