This is a topic that's always on our minds - to the extent that we have a manager who is exclusively responsible for it. At Werthenbach, we also work with an integrated compliance management system. This gives us as a company and all our employees maximum security when it comes to making the right - i.e. legally compliant - decisions in certain situations.

One thing is especially important to us: giving all our employees the feeling that compliance isn't just a corporate "ball and chain". We integrate the topic into our culture with due care, because we truly believe in it.

It is important to us to maintain a clear distance from issues like unfair competition, violations of the Anti-Discrimination Act, and breaches of regulations under the Occupational Health and Safety Act, with regard to the minimum wage, working hours and bogus self-employment, among other matters. We are committed to acting in accordance with the law, and reject tax evasion and corruption. We respect data protection rules and handle the data of our business partners and employees in a trustworthy manner according to all the relevant technical and legal standards. We comply with antitrust requirements, explicitly reject money laundering, respect procurement guidelines, and meet all the currently applicable environmental standards.

Serious whistleblowing helps to counteract violations at an early stage and reduce damage for Werthenbach, our employees and our business partners. The opportunity to submit whistleblowing reports is available to all Werthenbach employees, and also to our suppliers, service providers, customers and other third parties via several channels - anonymously if requested.
