Flanges: the cuddly ones.
One like no? Unfortunately, no, because there is not one flange. The industries and pipelines are too different for that. However, to ensure that everyone from the process industry to mechanical engineering and the petrochemical industry can find the right flanges, different types have evolved in the course of technical development. Figuratively speaking, a flange consists of a pair of round or angular mounting parts that are attached to the ends of one pipeline and the beginning of another. Both flanges can then be screwed together. In this way, for example, as many pipes as required can be connected to form a pipe network. The screws and nuts to be used when connecting two flanges depend on the intended use of the pipeline, the flange or the specific conditions there. Parameters like the style of the medium, pressure or temperature must be taken into account.
Hydraulic valves and accessories
Check valves, shuttle valves and stop valves are available in galvanized steel and stainless steel, are designed for operating pressures up to 630 bar and play a crucial role in the control and safety of hydraulic systems. They are suitable for insertion in rigid pipelines, screw connections and hose lines.
Tube clamps: the essentials.
Mount - this also describes the most important task of a pipe clamp. Pipe clamps were developed to fix pipelines at machines, systems, building structures and many other elements. Because the applications are so varied, pipe clamps are available in different designs: one-part or two-part. Pipe clamps are just as diverse in terms of material: there are versions made of steel, aluminum, stainless steel or plastic - depending on what is required by the pipeline or the environment. Seals that absorb vibrations can also be inserted at pipe clamps. These are made of elastomer, for example, and also reduce the noise generated by the media flowing through.
Tube fittings
Tube fittings create a leak-proof connection between hoses or pipelines and components in hydraulic systems. They are available with various threaded connections and forms and can be used partially up to an operating pressure of 800 bar. The materials include CF steel, brass and stainless steel. The application, pressure, temperature, medium, flow rate, environment and specifications must be taken into account when selecting suitable screw connections. Application media can be hydraulic oil, water and various gases.
Tubes and tube bends
Seamless cold drawn pipes are used as rigid connections between screw connections and components. These are available in steel (St.37.4), galvanised steel (Cr(VI)-free) and stainless steel (1.4571). The following can be used as a medium, among others: Hydraulic oil, water and, after a thorough cleaning, diverse gases. To simplify the processing of the pipes, it is possible to obtain mounting and bending tools from us.
