Lubricants are anything but simple. Like a good kitchen recipe, they are often carefully balanced mixtures that differ in their formulation, for example. These properties make lubricants perfect for preventing friction - and thus wear - on a wide variety of machines and systems. Cleaner
Cleaners and degreasers are highly effective and are available as both water-based and solvent-based products. The decisive factors for selecting a cleaner or degreaser are drying time, residue, odor and material compatibility.

Grease: guaranteed not to run away.
They come in many forms and versions: Greases. As durable multi-purpose or biological degradable greases. As auxiliary materials, greases are the middle of the road when it comes to protecting components and parts from influences. It is of no roll whether 100 g or several tons - good greases can handle a lot. Because of this, it is not surprising that greases for industry are just as diverse as those used in the kitchen. From solid to semi-solid variants, there is also a wide range of greases for industrial manufacturing, including greases that present themselves as lubricating fluids, have thickenings or are enriched with additives. Oils: Friction reducer.
Lubricating oils are the most popular among lubricants. Not without reason: classified according to their insert, such as in engines, chains or precision engineering devices, there is hardly a place in the industrial environment where something is not moving or turning. The selection of engine oils, gear oils, chain oils or oils for sewing machines and the like is correspondingly big. In addition to classification according to their place of use, oils can also be differentiated according to their origin. On the one hand, there are vegetable oils, animal oils, mineral oils and synthetic oils. Alternatively, oils can also be classified according to their viscosity. The most important task of oils is lubricating-. When applied to components and parts, oils reduce friction and thus wear on components as well as noise. One other important property: oils transport heat away. However, oils are not the measure of all things: Where dirt is to be expected, a good lubricating grease can be the better alternative.

Pastes: this is where it gets thick.
First things first: pastes are not the same as greases, even if they may feel like them from case to case. The reason: the viscosity. Pastes have a higher proportion of solid lubricants. This - here again, they are not in any way according to greases - makes them ideal aids to be optimally equipped in terms of lubricating-, separating- and corrosion protection. It is of no roll what temperature conditions prevail or how much pressure is applied. A good paste "swallows" pretty much everything and is also unimpressed by aggressive media. It is therefore clear that pastes are standard equipment in machine and plant construction and are extremely popular for mounting and dismounting screw connections, pressing pins and bolts and for the lubrication of toothed wheels or slideways.
